WSQ Certified Productivity & Innovation Specialist (CPIS)

To thrive in a rapidly changing business landscape, firms must innovate relentlessly to achieve breakthroughs in productivity. The WSQ Certified Productivity & Innovation Specialist (CPIS) Programme, jointly developed by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) and NTUC LearningHub, is targeted at operational-level workers.

WSQ Certified Productivity & Innovation Specialist focuses on a generic productivity skill set, ensuring that the trainees are equipped with necessary productivity tools and information to drive productivity in their organisations.

Who Should Attend

This course is suitable for operational-level workers from the manufacturing and service industries such as technicians, backroom administrative staff and front-line sales personnel.

Course Outline

The 5 modules under CPIS equips operational workers with better undertanding of productivity tools and taking on a more proactive role in implementing productivity initiatives.

This course comprises of the following modules:

Course Duration

2 days per module with a total of 80 hours over 5 modules with assessments (Part-Time/ Full-Time)


Practical and oral/ written tests are conducted at the end of each training module.


Upon successful completion of all 5 required modules, participants will receive a WSQ Certified Productivity and Innovation Specialist Certification.


Participants with the following competency ratings from the Employability Skills for Workplace Literacy are eligible:

- Listening/ Speaking       Minimum level 3
- Reading/ Writing            Minimum level 3
- Numeracy                      Minimum level 3

Or have completed PSLE and are able to speak, read and wrtie basic English. For WSQ Perform Basic Productivity Practices and WSQ Apply Innovation in the Workplace, the minimum requirements will be Employability Skills for Workplace Literacy Level 4.
