Enterprises in the manufacturing sector seeking to raise productivity and engender innovation will receive more support with the roll-out of the latest collaboration between the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) and Next UTM, and new Workforce Skills Qualifications programmes.

DRIVE (DRiving InnoVation Excellence)
The DRIVE (DRiving InnoVation Excellence) series is WDA and Next UTM’s exciting one-stop knowledge-sharing platform on the best practices firms can leverage to build a more productive, high-performing work environment. Designed for Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs), the series will feature a distinguished line-up of thought leaders, world-renowned practitioners and best-in-class productivity and innovation agents, who will impart their knowledge and experiences on innovation solutions and applications for competitive advantage and business excellence.

The first keynote speaker in the DRIVE series is Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple Computer Inc (now Apple Inc) who will touch on “Innovation and Creativity In the 21st Century”. Steve Wozniak, a legend in personal computing, is no stranger to innovation. Wozniak’s inventions contributed significantly to the personal computer revolution of the 1970s. He is also credited with the creation of the Apple I and Apple II computers in the mid-1970s. Participants at the conference will be able to benefit from Steve’s experience and sharing of best practices as well as exchange ideas.
