WSH Representative / Promoter / Advocate
This unit is designed for individuals typically at worker level with assigned responsibilities as representative or leaders among the workers. It would be suitable for individuals with little WSH background knowledge and skills. The unit is also relevant for small businesses operations and self-employed people. For those who intend to attain a Certificate in WSH, this unit would be especially relevant to them as it is one of the core units required for the qualification.
On completion of this course, participant will acquire the WSH knowledge and skills to assist in the implmentation of WSH control measures and management system. The knowledge acquired is mainly factual and procedural requiring basic comprehension skills.
Work activities comprise basic tasks mainly undertaken by entry-level or operational occupations with some accountability within clearly specified boundaries. Activities are carried out under clear instructions and close supervision requiring minimal judgement.

- Carry out and monitor compliance
ESS Workplace Safety and Health (Operations)
- Follow safe work practices and risk control procedures
- Participate in workplace safety and health management activities
- Follow workplace emergency response procedures
ESS Communication and Relationship Management (Operations)
- Participate in workplace communications
- Work in a team
- Demonstrate workplace negotiation skills

Participants are recommended to have attained the following before enrolling for the course:
- Reading/Writing: Level 4
- Numeracy: Level 4

Upon successful completion and assessment of each training module, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA).
SPUR funding is only applicable to all who are Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Absentee Payroll Funding is also available for this program.
