Mr Yeo Li Pheow joined the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) on March 2023. Prior to his appointment at IAL, Mr Yeo served 14 years and 9 months as Principal and Chief Executive Officer of Republic Polytechnic. Mr Yeo has held various appointments in different polytechnics since 1990. From May 2001 to Apr 2003, Mr Yeo was the Deputy Director, Higher Education Division at the Ministry of Education. Mr Yeo spent the first six and a half years of his career in the banking industry before he joined the education sector.
Mr Yeo graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (Accountancy major) from Macquarie University, Australia in 1983. In 1993, he completed his Master’s Degree in Business Administration at the Institut Superieur de Gestion (ISG), France. In 2013, Mr Yeo completed the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School.
Mr Yeo is a Fellow of the Australian Society of CPAs, an Associate of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (United Kingdom) and an Associate of the Staff Education Development Association (United Kingdom). He is also a professional member of the Singapore Human Resources Institute.
For his distinguished service to the education sector and the Singapore Public Service, Mr Yeo was awarded the following National Day Awards: Public Administration Medal (Bronze) in 2003, Public Service Long Service Medal in 2017, Public Administration Medal (Gold) in 2019, and Public Administration Medal (Bronze) – COVID-19 in 2023.
He was conferred the award of Honorary Doctor [Dr. (h.c.)] of the James Cook University in 2018 in recognition of his exceptional services that have significantly contributed towards the advancement of James Cook University.

Mr Jeremy Ong is the Chief Executive Officer at NTUC LearningHub from 5 November 2021. Mr Ong has over 30 years of working experience with a deep appreciation in technology, operations, and innovation. Most recently, he was the Chief Customer & Operations Officer at AXA Singapore from October 2019. In AXA, he spearheaded a company-wide initiative to simplify and innovate business processes and systems to strengthen customer propositions.
Prior to joining AXA Singapore, Mr Ong was a Senior Vice President in NTUC Enterprise Group CEO’s office from August 2018 to September 2019, focusing on group level transformation, ecosystem development, mergers & acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. His career with the NTUC group started in NTUC Income from January 2014, where he was the Chief Technology Officer & Head of Customer Operations. He had also served on the Board of NTUC Link, the group’s loyalty business, from 2016 to 2018. In AXA and NTUC Income, Mr Ong had implemented information technology (IT) strategy to drive digital transformation of insurance business, developed IT Architecture roadmap to modernise core legacy systems using cloud solutions, established DevOps & Security Operations Centre, adopted Data Analytics, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence to support strategic projects. Beyond his experience and insights in technology, Mr Ong is also savvy in business management, having led large cross functional teams with diverse skill sets in customer experience, product development, branding, and marketing, to harmonise business functions and operations.
Prior to joining the NTUC group, Mr Ong held senior executive roles in various technology firms including BCS Information Systems, NCS Group and Singapore Computer Systems Ltd. In these roles, he delivered the nation-wide FAST payment system that enables PayNow. He also managed large IT outsourcing projects for global and regional banks, including the Citibank Asia IT Outsourcing in transaction banking services.
Mr Ong started his career in the civil service, and he held several management positions including Chief Information Officer in the Ministry of the Environment and Chief Engineer in the National Environment Agency. He left the Ministry after 14 years of dedicated service.
Mr Ong is currently a member of the National University of Singapore (NUS) Master of Science Business Analytics Progamme Advisory Board. He also served as a member of the judging panel for the Excellence in Public Service Awards from 2015 to 2016, and a member of TechSkills Accelerator Committee of the SkillsFuture Singapore programme from 2015 to 2018.
Mr Ong holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from NUS, and he is a graduate of the inaugural Asian Financial Leaders Programme from Singapore Management University (SMU), International Institute for Management Development (IMD) Business School, The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, and Tsinghua University.

Mr Terence Hoon is the Chief Finance Officer at NTUC LearningHub. His primary responsibilities involve managing the financial risks and planning, as well as financial reporting of performance and forecast to our Board of Directors.
He has 16 years of experience in regional financial management across various industries such as logistics, manufacturing and Information Technology (IT). He has also worked in China for four years with JDEdwards. In his most recent position, Mr Hoon was with Keppel Logistics as a Financial Controller covering various Asian countries in areas of controllership, enterprise risk management, financial due diligence, and mergers & acquisitions. He was also on the Board of Directors for two of its subsidiaries, Transware Distribution and Keppel Logistics Malaysia.
Mr Hoon received a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and his Master of Business Administration from Calstate University, Hayward.

Ms Sivakami D/O Gopalakrishnan is the Managing Director of Corporate Learning Solutions at NTUC LearningHub (NTUC LHUB). The department maintains and builds relationships with all corporate clients who wish to send their staff for professional skills upgrading
She started her career in NTUC LHUB since its incorporation as a Curriculum Manager before moving on to sales. In the last seven years, Ms Sivakami was part of and managed the various sales teams in NTUC LHUB. In her last role as the Assistant Director of Sales, she had the opportunity to work with the full spectrum of customers that NTUC LHUB served – individuals, unions, labour intermediaries, and corporate organisations.
Prior to joining NTUC LHUB, Ms Sivakami spent three years in the NTUC Administration and Research Unit (ARU)’s Skills Development Department. She was involved in curriculum development and the running of the Information Technology (IT) Training Centre.
Ms Sivakami holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & English Language from National University of Singapore (NUS) and a Master of Business Administration degree with Merit from Manchester Business School.

Ms Cynthia Lim oversees the Quality and Operations Department of NTUC LearningHub (NTUC LHUB). She is responsible for driving quality-compliance and improvements, pertaining to operations within NTUC LHUB.
Ms Lim has more than 10 years of quality management experience under the International Organisation for Standardization (ISO) and various quality standards. Prior to this, Ms Lim also worked at the NTUC Administration and Research Unit (ARU) managing systems, operations, membership recruitment and the Skills Development, Redevelopment Funding.
She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from National University of Singapore (NUS).

Mr Anthony Chew is the Chief Core Skills Officer at NTUC LearningHub (NTUC LHUB). Prior to this, he has worked in the education and training industry for the past 15 years, holding various functions.
After his four-year stint as a Senior Academic Staff with Republic Polytechnic, Mr Chew joined NTUC LHUB as a Senior Training Manager, overseeing courseware and trainer management. With his vast sales experience and his desire to better understand industry needs and demands, Mr Chew was transferred internally to become the Senior Sales Manager, heading the Institute of Business Excellence sales team.
Mr Chew hopes to develop in-house pedagogy using more technology-based, engaging and modern teaching, and delivery methods. Being experienced in sales management, he has a deep understanding of the industry’s business and training needs. In his previous position as Head of CMD, Mr Chew was well positioned to lead his team to provide total solutions that were unique to each client.
Mr Chew graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in Finance. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), majoring in Accountancy.

Mr Sean Lim is the Chief Human Resource Officer at NTUC LearningHub, where he oversees all aspects of human capital management and development practices in the organisation.
He brings a diversified wealth of experience in human capital and organisation development. With previous roles in Resorts World Sentosa, Auric Pacific Group, SMRT and UOB, Mr Lim has been involved in a wide spectrum of interventions including human resource transformation, jobs redesign, talent development, learning & development and industrial relations.
Mr Lim holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from University College Dublin.

Mr Tay Ee Learn is the Chief Sector Skills Officer at NTUC LearningHub. His division works with the regulators, unions and industries to provide a comprehensive range of learning services and solutions for the advanced manufacturing, built environment, and trade & connectivity clusters.
Mr Tay started his career with the Ministry of Defence before moving on to the private sector. His industrial experiences, both locally and regionally, include operations, food production, supply chain management, safety, security, and information technology. He had also served as a board member for several private organisations.
Mr Tay is a strong believer in continuous experiential learning and improvement. He graduated from King’s College London, and holds a Master of Engineering degree in Logistics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
