Course Objectives

These objectives of the course are to prepare images for web and print output with appropriate sizing and resolution. Apply painted masks, selection-based masks, gradient masks, and blend modes to create sophisticated image effects. Create adjustment layers for editable, non-destructive changes to image colouration and exposure and eventually create professional designs.

Pre-requisites

  • Basic English Proficiency and Computer Literacy
  • Participants must have working knowledge of Windows 10 Operating system, how to use a mouse, standard menus and commands, how to open, save, and close files.
  • Able to follow basic instruction of copy and pasting files. Saving, renaming, deleting of files.
  • Familiarity with IT terminology and Creative related work experience are recommended.

    This course will be conducted as a Virtual Live Class (VLC) via Zoom platform. Participants must own a zoom account and have a laptop or a desktop with “Zoom Client for Meetings” installed. This can be downloaded from
