Course Overview

This course aims to help learners improve their operational processes, adopt best practices and apply new rules for their businesses and companies to automate manual work processes (e.g. operations, customer service & security). This will improve and enhance productivity goals by leveraging on emerging AI Robotics solutions. This will also open more opportunities for technicians and engineers to work in the field of emerging robotics engineering fields.

1. Determine direct kinematics transfer and work spaces of robots

2. Design appropriate paths and trajectories for manufacturing robots

3. Programme robots for point-to-point movement and path following

Course Outline

  • Understanding Robotics and Devices and its Usage in Different Applications
  • Application of Robotic Trends For Different Automations
  • Implementing the Features and Functions of Robots in Workspaces
  • Designing and Building a Robot for a Specific Path or Application
  • Practicing Motion Planning in the Designing and Building of Robots for a Specific Point-to-Point Motion
  • Implementing Programming for a Robot Point-to-Point Motion
  • Build, Code, Debug and Deploy a Robot and its Motion from a Location to Another

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by

  • Statement of Attainment from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)
  • Upon completion of the course and passing the assessment(s), Statement of Attainment (SOAs) will be issued by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) to the participant
  • Certificate of completion from NTUC LearningHub

Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.

Funding Eligibility Criteria:

Company Sponsored Trainee

  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • From 1 October 2023, attendance-taking for SkillsFuture Singapore's (SSG) funded courses must be done digitally via the Singpass App. This applies to both physical and synchronous e-learning courses

  • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments, and attain 100% competency
  • NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents

SkillsFuture Credit:

  • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding.

UTAP:

  • This course is eligible for Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP).
  • NTUC members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year) under UTAP.

Absentee Payroll (AP) Funding:
