What do Digital HR Business Partners Do?

The role of the Digital HR business partner is to work closely with key stakeholders to enhance workforce performance, make sure human resource policy and procedure throughout the organization fit the needs, goals, and aims of the organization in a digital age.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the end to end spectrum of HR functions (Recruitment planning, Career planning, Performance management, Data Analysis, Compensation and rewards, Employee relations, Learning and development, Recognition programs, and Strategic development) and acting as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.
  • Establish effective communication channels to ensure the smooth information flow and corporate culture and employee engagement
  • Work with Management and Business Unit Heads to improve framework for digital delivery with the view to meet HR’s operational requirements and achieve lean outcome
  • Manage workforce planning to support business needs and be accountable for manpower budgetary for the business units
  • Continuous improvement in digital HR system and processes

Average Salary:

S$40,267

Human Resource knowledge – Sufficient breadth of knowledge, deeper insights and greater understanding of Human Resource Management (HRM) today. Conduct workforce planning to support the business objectives of the organisation, as well as leverage on analytics to improve the quality of employee

Digital strategy & transformation – Develop a detailed strategy and blueprint for the implementation and transformation process

Business & technology – How HR as a function can become more digital and HR can help drive business outcomes in a digital age

Employee experience – Learn to apply unique digital employee experience techniques to improve interactions between the business and HR

Programme Pre-requisites

  • Singapore Citizens and PRs aged 21 and above, who are currently unemployed but looking for career conversion
  • Minimum 2 years work experience
  • Committed to complete the programme

Competencies required:

Functional/Technical Competencies

  • Minimum Higher Nitec in any discipline
  • Be able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 6
  • Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES WSQ Workplace Numeracy (WPN) Level 6
  • Prior experience in graphic design using Adobe suite of applications is preferred
  • Well versed in all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Innovative individual who will think out of the box to find solutions for existing and anticipated problems
  • Proactive attitude, results oriented and display strong multi-tasking skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with stakeholders, communicate effectively and build trust in order to influence, facilitate and resolve conflicts
  • Strong analytical, written/spoken communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Maintains high integrity and displays reliability

  • Certain level of maturity, independence, and strong business acumen

Student Schedule

This is a full-time training programme conducted over 9 months. The first 6 months comprise of a combination of instructor-led online classroom / virtual training, e-learning videos and hands-on projects. In the last 3 months, participants will work on capstone projects(s).
