Course Objectives

At the end of this course, learners will be able to:

A1. Respond to Emergency Situations in accordance with the EPRP

A2. Alert supervisors of potential escalation of emergency situations

A3. Communicate risks relating to emergency response plans and suggest areas for improvements

A4. Participate in the conduct of emergency response drills in accordance with the EPRP

Pre-requisites

WPLN – Level 3

Age – 21

Experience – 1 Year and above & Qualification – Secondary Level

Course Outline

  1. Recognise and Interpret Elements and Types of an Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP)
  2. Recognise risks related to an EPRP and activate inhouse emergency services in responding to emergency situations.
  3. Able to take part in the organisational emergency response drills in accordance with the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans
  4. Provide feedbacks areas of improvements to the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans (EPRP) to the relevant stakeholders.

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by

  • Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)
  • Certificate of completion from NTUC LearningHub

Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.

Funding Eligibility Criteria:

  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • From 1 October 2023, attendance-taking for SkillsFuture Singapore's (SSG) funded courses must be done digitally via the Singpass App. This applies to both physical and synchronous e-learning courses

  • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments, and attain 100% competency
  • NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents

SkillsFuture Credit: 

  • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding.

UTAP: 

  • This course is eligible for Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP).
  • NTUC members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year) under UTAP.
