The PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) highlights your ability to identify and assess project risks, mitigate threats and capitalize on opportunities.

It acknowledges the individual’s unique expertise on the project team while demonstrating the recognition and value the role provides to the project management profession. In this role, an individual has more competence in the specialized area of assessing and identifying project risks while mitigating threats and capitalizing on opportunities than a general practitioner and yet, also maintains a basic level of competence in all areas of project management.

Employers can trust certification holders to possess the skills, knowledge and experience to contribute directly to their crucial projects. This course will help participants to prepare for PMI-RMP examination. After the 4 days course and with some self-review, participants will be equipped with adequate knowledge to prepare themselves for the exam.

    • To ensure your success in this course, you should have a basic understanding of project management concepts and/or working experience with project management.  This can be achieved by attending:

IBFIT08 Project Management for All / IBFIT31 Certified Agile Professionala

    • To sit for the official PMI-RMP certification exam, candidates must satisfy the following criteria:
  • A degree
  • At least 3,000 hours spent in the specialized area of professional project risk management within the last five consecutive years
  • 30 contact hours of formal education in the specialized area of project risk management.

*This course qualifies for 30 Contact Hours of formal project risk management education, satisfying the Project Management Institute PMI-RMP Exam requirement.

  • A high school diploma (equivalent to GCE O-Level) or an associate’s degree (or global equivalent)
  • At least 4,500 hours spent in the specialized area of professional project risk management within the last five consecutive years
  • 40 contact hours of formal education in the specialized area of project risk management
    • As this is an intensive 4-day course, please commit to the full 4-day schedule as absence or breaks in between would likely be disruptive to your learning journey.
