“At that time, most of the assignments were on freelance basis and I wanted to learn a skill which could give me an upper hand when finding jobs. After much consideration, I decided to go for the Forklift course so that I can find a job in the logistic industry,” shared Mr Khaleed.Like most of his peers, Mr Khaleed, a 24-year-old young man, is new to the workforce and has no idea which career to go for. Cheerful and outgoing by nature, he prefers learning hands-on skills which he can apply on the job. Coincidentally, his mother is also working in the logistic industry and had shared with him the possibility of craving a career in this area. Hence he signed up for the Forklift course with NTUC LearningHub. “I learnt a lot of useful skills in this course and also from my trainer, Mr Ronald Khoo. Many of us are new to Forklift and we came from different woks of life. He was very patient with us and taught us many useful knowledge along the way,” said Mr Khaleed.

Learning doesn’t stop here for Mr Khaleed. He aims to upgrade himself in future if there is an opportunity and look forward to take up courses in the area of security. He also firmly believes that having an additional skillset is vital in the long run so as to prepare himself for future challenges.
