Prof. Rozen has a wide range of experience both in academics (20 years) and consulting (25 years). Alon began his undergraduate studies in International Marketing at University of Massachussetts (Boston) and later transferred to the University of Paris I – La Sorbonne, where he obtained a B.A. with honors in Economics with a specialization in “Money and Finance”. He later completed an MBA at the Ecole des Ponts Business School in Paris, which included participation in the Negotiation and Arbitration program at Harvard’s Kennedy School in Boston. PhD ABD from ISM (Paris), during which his doctoral research was focused on France’s wine sector in the face of the increased globalization of world wine markets. Current research includes business modeling, lean innovation, business agility and circular economy business models.

Alon has worked in the Caribbean, China, the Emirates, France, Israel, Luxembourg, Morocco, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, the United States and the United Kingdom. He speaks fluent English, French and Hebrew, can get by reasonably well in Spanish, slightly less reasonably in Portuguese and Italian. Alon has also studied Russian but that attempt did not end very well.

Alon has many passions notably tennis, technology and innovation, surfing, reading, business, languages, people and, of course, (good) wine — but not necessarily in that order.
