This one-day course will cover general cloud computing concepts, as well as general cloud computing models and services, such as Private, Public and Hybrid cloud, and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). It will also cover some core Azure services and solutions, key Azure pillar services concerning privacy, security, trust, compliance and finally cover pricing and support services available with Azure.

  • Understand and describe core Azure architectural components.

Module 3 – Security, Privacy, Compliance and Trust

  • Understand and describe how to secure network connectivity in Microsoft Azure.
  • Understand and describe core Azure identity services.

  • Understand and describe Azure governance methodologies.
  • Understand and describe monitoring and reporting in Azure.
  • Understand and describe privacy, compliance, and data protection standards in Azure.

Module 4 – Azure Pricing and Support

After students pass the external official AZ-900T01 exam, they will receive a Certified Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft

As this is a government subsidised programme, the entire training programme will be video recorded for audit purposes by the relevant funding agency. To ascertain their presence, participants are required to

  • Turn on web camera to show real-time video, as opposed to using a profile picture / video (jpg/jpeg, gif or png image file) for the entirety of the training and assessment session.
  • Ensure that their faces are fully visible (not just the forehead / eyebrows)
  • Use their full name as per NRIC / Passport as their Screen Name on Zoom

  • Eligible company-sponsored trainees will be able to clock CPD hours upon successful course completion

Class Allowance

For all courses commencing after 1st July 2021 and before 31st December 2021 :

  • Singapore Citizens and permanent residents of all ages will receive course fee subsidies of 90%
  • The course fee for individuals and corporates are shown in the pricing table.
  • Training Allowance – $10 per training and assessment hour (Sponsoring companies in Finance and Banking)
