Senior Parliamentary Secretary’s Visit to LHUB

Senior Parliamentary Secretary’s Visit to LHUB

28 Apr 2020

We are excited to have Ministry of Social and Family Development’s (MSF) Senior Parliamentary Secretary Assoc Prof Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim visit us during our Sync Your Service Vision! (WSQ Demonstrate the Service Vision) class at United Square on 19th July 2017. This is part of LHUB’s joint collaboration with MSF to help businesses be family friendly by enhancing their service professionals and leaders’s skills and capabilities through training.

LHUB has been working closely with MSF since 2016, to design and develop tailored content for family-friendly service training programmes. Under the partnership, NTUC LearningHub conducts WSQ Demonstrate the Service Vision and WSQ Lead with Service Vision with MSF.

Training at United Square

The class is specially arranged with help from United Square management and MSF to cater for United Square retail tenants and other businesses nearby. It is part of LHUB-MSF’s drive to support MSF’s FamilyMatters@Business initiative.

In the course, learners learn more about their role in delivering service according to their organisation’s vision, mission and values, and how to demonstrate family-friendly behaviour for family customers, including families with young children, elderly with dementia and persons with disabilities.

“This program focuses on rendering high service excellence standards oriented towards the family … and we emphasized a lot on the empathy walk, feeling for the customers.”

said Mr Kwek Kok Kwong, CEO of NTUC LearningHub

NTUC Learninghub plans to expand such training to more businesses especially Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across 3 broad areas; retail, transport as well as food & beverages companies as these are the highest touch points on a daily basis with Singaporeans.
