Course Overview

Understand Emotional Intelligence principles such as self-confidence, flexibility, conscientiousness, and initiative. Learn and apply self-awareness techniques to manage yourself and your team at the workplace.

Learn to have a better grip of team management through an understanding of self—awareness vis a via principle of emotional intelligence to facilitate understanding and management of self and team members. This helps to cultivate positive emotional climate bringing about higher work harmony and in turn increase productivity and enhance teamwork.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Have the knowledge and application skills required to apply emotional intelligence with self-awareness, model emotional intelligence principles that gives an understanding and management of self and others in a team
  • Be able to promote a positive emotional climate at the workplace
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, especially in today’s context of working with people from different cultures and backgrounds

  • Be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to WPL Level 5

  • NTUC Members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year) under Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP)

Absentee Payroll (AP) Funding:

  • $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year
  • AP funding will be computed based on the actual number of training hours attended by the trainee
