Course Overview
On completion of this unit, the trainee shall be able to have the following knowledge and application skills to apply them to the workplace:
- Plan cleaning activities
- Supervise cleaning activities
- Handle contingencies during cleaning activities

Course Outline
On completion, the trainee shall be able to:
- Analyse job instructions/orders to identify cleaning activities and the resources needed in consultation with relevant stakeholders
- Plan and schedule cleaning activities to meet job instructions/ orders in consultation with relevant stakeholders
- Establish supervision plan to ensure safe and effective work performance
- Establish reporting plan to relevant stakeholders in accordance with organisational and contractual requirements
- Seek approval and/or confirmation of cleaning arrangements in consultation with relevant stakeholders in accordance with organisational procedures
- Conduct pre-cleaning briefing in accordance with organisational procedures
- Monitor worker compliance with safety requirements in accordance with regulatory and organisational policies and procedures
- Supervise performance of workers to meet cleaning schedules and standards in accordance with organisational procedures
- Adjust cleaning schedule and arrangements to meet clients requirements in consultation with relevant stakeholders and in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
- Provide feedback on work processes in consultation with relevant stakeholders
- Obtain information on contingencies for corrective actions in accordance with organisational procedures
- Take corrective actions for contingencies and report actions taken in accordance with organisational procedures
- Provide recommendations for prevention of future occurrences in consultation with relevant stakeholders
- Implement recommendations in accordance with regulatory and organisational procedures
- Provide feedback on the effectiveness of new processes in accordance with regulatory and organisational procedures

- Certificate of completion from NTUC LearningHub
Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.
