Course Overview
A common myth about giving presentations or speaking to a group of people is that some individuals are “born presenters”. Though some people who are more comfortable speaking to groups of people than others, they are not born with the “gift of the gab”.
Giving presentations is a skill that requires nurturing, those uncomfortable with verbal communication benefit from developing strategies to give presentations. Even those who enjoy being in front of an audience need to develop similar strategies to achieve greater impact.
Presentations involve stages that include unseen hours preparing for the actual delivery. Whether you are telling a story, facilitating a training programme, presenting a pitch to a client, or a report, systematic planning provides you with the confidence to feel that you 'own' your topic and this confidence will help you to deliver an effective and impactful presentation.
This programme is designed to enable learners to develop and apply the different communication strategies that can help you to successfully present information to achieve business goals in the everchanging work environment.
