Course Outline

Observe good personal grooming, proper hygiene standards and display of a positive image

  • Donning of neat and clean uniform/personal attire prior to commencement of cleaning activities
  • Checking of overall disposition to ensure proper grooming and hygiene standards are met prior to commencement of cleaning activities
  • Courteous greeting and the prompt assistance given to customers
  • Consistent maintenance of tools, equipment, and supplies on trolley and placement of trolleys
  • Manning of the work area during official working hours

Maintain good interpersonal relationship and proper communication with customers

  • Courteous greeting and prompt assistance is given to customers
  • Display of good posture and positive body language that translates to approachability to customers
  • Taking initiative in offering assistance to customers
  • Attentive listening to customer requests, queries, needs and complaints

Practice good service delivery

  • Donning of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) prior to commencement of cleaning activities
  • Confirming that appropriate safety measures are taken before commencement of cleaning activities
  • Monitoring of time taken for work activities
  • Recording of completed work activities on the job card

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by

  • Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)
  • Certificate of Attendance from NTUC LearningHub
  • Certificate of completion from NTUC LearningHub

Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.

Funding Eligibility Criteria:

Company Sponsored Trainee

  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • From 1 October 2023, attendance-taking for SkillsFuture Singapore's (SSG) funded courses must be done digitally via the Singpass App. This applies to both physical and synchronous e-learning courses

  • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments, and attain 100% competency
  • NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents

SkillsFuture Credit: 

  • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding.

UTAP: 

  • This course is eligible for Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP).
  • NTUC members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year) under UTAP.
