Course Objectives

Prepare for work activities
Perform simple maintenance to fixtures and fittings
Perform periodic cleaning of toilet ceilings, glass, walls/ partitions, fixtures and fittings
Perform de-scaling of urinals and toilet bowls
Perform advanced cleaning of toilet floors
Reinstate work area

Course Outline

Know the various types of environment
Know the various types and characteristics of toilet ceilings, glass, walls/ partitions, fixtures and fittings for periodic cleaning
Know the various types and characteristics of toilet floors
Know the various types and characteristics of urinals and toilet bowls
Know basic proper grooming for work
Know the various types and proper uses of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Apply basic knowledge of first-aid
Display appropriate safety signage to reduce hazards before work
Know the tools, equipment, supplies, and chemicals for periodic cleaning of washrooms
Have knowledge of Safety Data Sheet (SDS)
Perform simple maintenance to fixtures and fittings
Perform de-scaling methods to urinals and toilet bowls
Perform periodic cleaning for toilet ceilings, glass, walls/ partitions, fixtures and fittings
Perform advanced toilet floor cleaning using single disc floor scrubber
Reinstate work area
Follow procedures and standards

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by

Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)

Certificate of completion from NTUC LearningHub

Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.

Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
From 1 October 2023, attendance-taking for SkillsFuture Singapore's (SSG) funded courses must be done digitally via the Singpass App. This applies to both physical and synchronous e-learning courses.
Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments and attain 100% competency.
NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria.

Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents

Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding.

UTAP:

This course is eligible for Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP).
NTUC members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year) under UTAP.

Absentee Payroll (AP) Funding:
