Course Overview

The course aims to equip individuals with peer supporting and basic psychological first aid skills so as to provide adequate mental well-being support and interventions to assist distressed colleagues and peers. You can look forward to a curriculum that has been crafted by trained professionals from the Singapore Anglican Community Services, in consultation with the Agency of Integrated Care (AIC) and Institute of Mental Health (IMH).

This course is jointly put together by Young NTUC and NTUC LearningHub, and supported by the Workplace Safety and Health Council (WSHC). Young NTUC is also part of the Youth Mental Well-Being Network (YMWB), which is supported by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), Ministry of Education (MOE) and Ministry of Health (MOH).

This course is also a key response to the Tripartite Advisory on Mental Well-Being at Workplaces announced in November 2020. We envision to create a community of certified peer supporters who can be friends, colleagues, peers that individuals can look to if they feel that they are mentally distressed and need a listening ear, or support in the workplace. Be part of this meaningful initiative today.
