Hawker Entrepreneurship Programme Information

This course is to understand individual’s role in business plans, executing and adapting implementation plans including the monitoring and reporting of the outcomes of the implementation of the business plans.

Course Duration:
4 Nights of Facilitated Classroom Training and 6 hours of E-Learning

Course Objectives:
• Clarify own role in the business plan
• Execute the implementation plans in a timely manner
• Identify and adapt implementation plans when necessary
• Monitor and report outcomes to relevant stakeholders

This course is to establish and monitor control systems for income and expenses, administer petty cash and review financial records.

Course Duration:
4 Nights of Facilitated Classroom Training and 6 hours of E-Learning

Course Objectives:
• Establish a control system for income and expenses
• Monitor the system for its effectiveness
• Administer petty cash
• Review financial records

OJT Culinary Skills Training from FG2 OR Intensive Culinary Skills Training with At-Sunrice
Learners will choose 1 out of 8 food brands for their OJT. The curriculum will focus on the following:

• Stall design and display

• Food hygiene and safety practices

• Culinary – prepare, assemble and cook different dishes.

• Resource management – inventory, staff etc

• Cash handling and sales monitoring

Choose from 2 curriculum – Chinese and Malay cuisine. Each with 3 days (total 18 hours) hands-on learning and assessment.

• Master 12 Chinese recipes or 15 Malay recipes (includes 6 desserts) respectively.

• Learn the mise en place techniques of preparation and efficiency.

• Acquire basic skills and cooking techniques

• Food hygiene and safety practices
