Job Matching

Going Beyond Just Training

Announced at the recent Budget 2020, the Next Bound of SkillsFuture aims to further support Singaporeans to develop to their fullest potential throughout life, regardless of their starting points.

Supporting our government and Labour Movement drive to help workers thrive in the future economy, NTUC LearningHub (NTUC LHUB) strives to go beyond just their training needs. We want to ensure that with the new knowledge and skills acquired through upskilling, our workers can be gainfully employed for new and transformed roles.

That is why we are working closely with our unions and organisations to explore suitable job roles for our workers through job matching with hiring organisations.

Matching Opportunities

We seek to help match our workers and employers for available job roles. Please see the programmes and professional roles available listed below for opportunities matching. Individuals exploring new job opportunities or employers seeking candidates for job roles, please submit your interest and we will be in touch with you shortly.

2. Security Professionals

The security industry is urgently seeking security officers. There are currently 45,000 officers on the ground, but the estimated demand is for about 10,000 officers more. This demand has increased steadily over the years as security considerations develop, and the urban landscape transforms. The sectoral tripartite partners have worked together to improve the working conditions of the industry.

The Progressive Wage Model has raised the wages significantly over the years, with a large jump from 2021. 2021 is also the year the overtime patterns will follow the Employment Act guidelines of no more than 72 hours per month.

If you are considering career choices, this is a great time to join the security industry. NTUC LearningHub is working with our affiliate, the Union of Security Employees (USE) on this initiative.
