Who Should Attend

The Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator is responsible for deploying, configuring, securing, managing, and monitoring devices and client applications in a corporate setting. Their duties include managing identity, access, policies, updates, and apps. They work alongside the M365 Enterprise Administrator to develop and execute a device strategy that aligns with the requirements of a modern organization. Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrators should be well-versed in M365 workloads and possess extensive skills and experience in deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows 11 and later, as well as non-Windows devices. Their role emphasizes cloud services over on-premises management technologies.

Course Overview

In this course, students will learn to plan and execute an endpoint deployment strategy using contemporary deployment techniques and implementing update strategies. The course introduces essential elements of modern management, co-management approaches, and Microsoft Intune integration. It covers app deployment, management of browser-based applications, and key security concepts such as authentication, identities, access, and compliance policies. Technologies like Azure Active Directory, Azure Information Protection, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint are explored to protect devices and data.

Pre-requisites

We recommend that attendees of this course have the following prerequisites:

  • Be familiar with Microsoft 365 workloads and must have strong skills and experience of deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows 10 and later and non-Windows devices.
  • Experience with installing, updating and maintaining Windows 10/11 desktops.
  • Authorization and authentication.
  • Computer networks and cloud-based concepts.
  • Understanding of OS images and group policy objects.
  • Understanding of managing mobile devices.
  • Hardware & Software
    • This course will be conducted as a Virtual Live Class (VLC) via Zoom platform.
    • Participants must own a Zoom account and have a laptop or a desktop with “Zoom Client for Meetings” installed. Download from zoom.us/download.

    Using a dual monitor setup will undoubtedly improve your training experience, enabling you to simultaneously participate in hands-on exercises and maintain engagement with your instructor.

Using tablets is not recommended due to their smaller screen size, which could cause eye strain and discomfort over the course of the program's duration.

    The participant will be able to attempt the MD102 Endpoint Administrator exam after attending this course. Upon passing the exam, the participant will receive Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate digital badge and accreditation from Microsoft.

  • From 1 October 2023, attendance-taking for SkillsFuture Singapore's (SSG) funded courses must be done digitally via the Singpass App. This applies to both physical and synchronous e-learning courses.
  • Trainee must achieve at least 75% attendance.
  • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments and attain 100% competency.
  • NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria.
