Mr Jeremy Ong
Chief Executive Officer

Mr Jeremy Ong is the Chief Executive Officer at NTUC LearningHub from 5 November 2021. Mr Ong has over 30 years of working experience with a deep appreciation in technology, operations, and innovation. Most recently, he was the Chief Customer & Operations Officer at AXA Singapore from October 2019. In AXA, he spearheaded a company-wide initiative to simplify and innovate business processes and systems to strengthen customer propositions.

Prior to joining AXA Singapore, Mr Ong was a Senior Vice President in NTUC Enterprise Group CEO’s office from August 2018 to September 2019, focusing on group level transformation, ecosystem development, mergers & acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. His career with the NTUC group started in NTUC Income from January 2014, where he was the Chief Technology Officer & Head of Customer Operations. He had also served on the Board of NTUC Link, the group’s loyalty business, from 2016 to 2018. In AXA and NTUC Income, Mr Ong had implemented information technology (IT) strategy to drive digital transformation of insurance business, developed IT Architecture roadmap to modernise core legacy systems using cloud solutions, established DevOps & Security Operations Centre, adopted Data Analytics, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence to support strategic projects. Beyond his experience and insights in technology, Mr Ong is also savvy in business management, having led large cross functional teams with diverse skill sets in customer experience, product development, branding, and marketing, to harmonise business functions and operations.

Prior to joining the NTUC group, Mr Ong held senior executive roles in various technology firms including BCS Information Systems, NCS Group and Singapore Computer Systems Ltd. In these roles, he delivered the nation-wide FAST payment system that enables PayNow. He also managed large IT outsourcing projects for global and regional banks, including the Citibank Asia IT Outsourcing in transaction banking services.

​ Mr Ong started his career in the civil service, and he held several management positions including Chief Information Officer in the Ministry of the Environment and Chief Engineer in the National Environment Agency. He left the Ministry after 14 years of dedicated service.

Mr Ong is currently a member of the National University of Singapore (NUS) Master of Science Business Analytics Programme Advisory Board. He also served as a member of the judging panel for the Excellence in Public Service Awards from 2015 to 2016, and a member of TechSkills Accelerator Committee of the SkillsFuture Singapore programme from 2015 to 2018.

Mr Ong holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from NUS, and he is a graduate of the inaugural Asian Financial Leaders Programme from Singapore Management University (SMU), International Institute for Management Development (IMD) Business School, The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, and Tsinghua University.

Mr Nah Tien Liang
Chief Financial Officer

Mr Tien Liang Nah is the Chief Financial Officer at NTUC LearningHub. His primary responsibilities encompass the management of financial risks and planning, as well as financial reporting of performance and forecast to our Board of Directors.

He has 25 years of experience in the environmental and infrastructure sector, where he has held various leadership roles both in the public and private sectors. Throughout his extensive career, he has showcased a well-established history of successfully closing Mergers and Acquisitions deals alongside securing debt and equity financing for large-scale projects. He also served on the Board of Directors for multiple investee companies.

Mr Nah holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tokyo, majoring in Electrical Engineering, as well as a Master’s degree in Applied Finance from the National University of Singapore. He also completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) programme. Additionally, Mr Nah is fluent in Japanese.

Ms Sivakami D/O Gopalakrishnan
Managing Director, Corporate Learning Solutions

Ms Sivakami D/O Gopalakrishnan is the Managing Director of Corporate Learning Solutions at NTUC LearningHub (NTUC LHUB). The department maintains and builds relationships with all corporate clients who wish to send their staff for professional skills upgrading

She started her career in NTUC LHUB since its incorporation as a Curriculum Manager before moving on to sales. In the last seven years, Ms Sivakami was part of and managed the various sales teams in NTUC LHUB. In her last role as the Assistant Director of Sales, she had the opportunity to work with the full spectrum of customers that NTUC LHUB served – individuals, unions, labour intermediaries, and corporate organisations.

Prior to joining NTUC LHUB, Ms Sivakami spent three years in the NTUC Administration and Research Unit (ARU)’s Skills Development Department. She was involved in curriculum development and the running of the Information Technology (IT) Training Centre.

Ms Sivakami holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & English Language from National University of Singapore (NUS) and a Master of Business Administration degree with Merit from Manchester Business School.

Ms Agnes Goh
Managing Director, Consumer Sales

Ms Agnes Goh is the Managing Director of Consumer Sales at NTUC LearningHub, where she spearheads consumer growth and outreach through customer touchpoints and channels.

She brings over 20 years of experience in small to large-scale retail operations, marketing, business development, product innovation, and multi-platform commercial strategies.

Most recently the General Manager at M1 Limited, Ms Goh successfully implemented new strategies and business structure to support the shift from retail to digital front and drove in-store customer experience by increasing customer engagement and loyalty in the digital sphere. In 2022, she was appointed by the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) as Chairman for the Work-Study Diploma in Customer Experience Management, where she oversaw the course and the on-the-job programme.

Prior to M1, she assumed several roles in various retail companies where she led organisational restructuring, brand and product innovation, and marketing campaigns across Asia.

Ms Goh holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics) in Banking and Finance from the University of London, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Northumbria University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Strategy, Leadership & Innovation from Boston University.

Mr Joe Loy
Managing Director, Digital Business

Mr Joe Loy is the Managing Director of Digital Business at NTUC LearningHub and drives the company’s digital offering of products and services through an in-depth understanding of current and emerging client needs and technology trends.

He has more than 20 years of experience in commercial roles, predominantly in the finance sector, excelling in digital product management across various financial institutions. He led business transformation and digital innovation, formulating distribution strategies to support the facilitation of sales. Mr Loy also accelerated business quality through analytics and oversaw the implementation of governance frameworks. In his previous roles at DBS, StarHub, AIA, Manulife, and AXA, he spearheaded digital transformation within the organisations from the people, process, technology, and channel integration perspectives. His notable achievements include launching a financial health check solution for customers through fintech collaboration and a propensity modelling digital platform for financial advisers.

Mr Loy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (RMIT). He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Leicester.

Mr Tay Ee Learn
Chief Sector Skills Officer

Mr Tay Ee Learn is the Chief Sector Skills Officer at NTUC LearningHub. His division works with the regulators, unions and industries to provide a comprehensive range of learning services and solutions for the advanced manufacturing, built environment, and trade & connectivity clusters.

Mr Tay started his career with the Ministry of Defence before moving on to the private sector. His industrial experiences, both locally and regionally, include operations, food production, supply chain management, safety, security, and information technology. He had also served as a board member for several private organisations.

Mr Tay is a strong believer in continuous experiential learning and improvement. He graduated from King’s College London, and holds a Master of Engineering degree in Logistics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Mr Amos Tan
Chief Core Skills Officer

Mr Amos Tan is the Chief Core Skills Officer at NTUC LearningHub. His team works with corporates, technology industry partners and government agencies to design and provide training suites in the area of technology and horizontal skills.

With nearly 25 years of experience in the public sector, Mr Tan previously assumed diverse leadership roles, playing a pivotal part in establishing and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders across various government agencies. His expertise in infocomm technology (ICT) included charting the digital government strategy together with the Ministry of Finance; fostering innovation with the tech industry for the public sector; leading whole-of-government initiatives such as the eGov2015 masterplan, mobile or mGov 2.0 programme, Smart Nation solutions with lead agencies; providing consultancy on digital government & smart city to foreign governments as part of bilateral cooperation; and overseeing ICT as the CIO in then-Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS). He was also one of the 6 pioneering Commission Members of the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) appointed by the Minister for Communications & Information.

In his most recent role as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of a local start-up, he advocated for the adoption of Large Language Models (LLMs) and virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR) technologies, with a particular focus on their applications in the healthcare and education sectors.

Mr Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore, Graduate School of Business with a Master of Science in Management of Technology. He also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree (Merit) in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. Additionally, Mr Tan has completed executive development programme at INSEAD Fontainebleau France, Firefly Leadership programme with EDB-CSC-INSEAD Singapore and CIO Academy with Gartner-Said Business School, University of Oxford.

Ms Soh Hooi Peng
Chief Strategy Officer

Ms Soh Hooi Peng is the Chief Strategy Officer at NTUC LearningHub. Her primary responsibility involves working closely with the management team to devise strategies for the organisation’s initiatives and projects.

She has comprehensive working experience in both the civil service as well as private sectors. She was part of the pioneering team in a new set-up to develop and implement an Economic Development Board (EDB) scheme to attract foreign entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals to Singapore to set up businesses and create employment opportunities for Singaporeans. She also led the market development teams for various geographical regions in order to grow the clientele base. In her most recent position in a fund management company, Ms Soh played a key role in spearheading the fund-raising efforts for two private equity funds. Her experience spans from the implementation of policies and procedures, fundraising, client engagement, monitoring of investment portfolios to overseeing the day-to-day operations. Her strong finance and audit background also helps to provide an overview of industry insights and business trends.

Ms Soh graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and started her career with a Big 4 accounting firm.

Mr Benny Yong
Chief Digital Technology Officer

Mr Benny Yong is the Chief Digital Technology Officer at NTUC LearningHub (NTUC LHUB). His primary responsibility involves driving digitalisation efforts towards the development of capabilities to build and sustain NTUC LHUB’s digital business.

He brings with him 22 years of comprehensive working experience in Project Management Office (PMO), project and programme delivery, architecture, and application delivery. He co-created and successfully delivered board-level digital transformation strategies with senior Information Technology (IT) and business leaders. Mr Yong also established and managed strategic outsourcing partnerships with consulting partners and vendors. In his recent roles at NTUC Income and Prudential, he established and implemented PMO governance, as well as built agile project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. His strong background as a certified and experienced project and programme manager has also helped drive IT division-wide transformation and change management, from legacy core teams to agile digitally skilled tribes.

Mr Yong graduated with a Bachelor of Information Technology degree (Distinction) from the University of Southern Queensland, and was awarded the Faculty of Business Prize and University Medal.

Mr Michael Tan
Chief Operations Officer

Mr Michael Tan is the Chief Operations Officer at NTUC LearningHub, where he spearheads the organisation’s business transformation efforts through operational and productivity initiatives.

He brings with him over 20 years of experience in international business, project management, digital transformation, and business and operations excellence in various sectors including logistics, finance, and accounting.

Mr Tan’s most recent role was Director for Productivity at Singapore Power (SP) Group, where he successfully drove productivity and cost efficiency initiatives through cross-functional projects. Prior to SP Group, he assumed several management roles in CEVA Logistics, where he led corporate sales, global operations development, and centralised procurement for the Chinese market.

Mr Tan is an alumnus of the National University of Singapore (NUS), where he graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) degree. He also holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Engineering (Industrial & Systems Engineering) from NUS, and is an experienced Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

Mr Sean Lim
Chief Human Resource Officer

Mr Sean Lim is the Chief Human Resource Officer at NTUC LearningHub, where he oversees all aspects of human capital management and development practices in the organisation.

He brings a diversified wealth of experience in human capital and organisation development. With previous roles in Resorts World Sentosa, Auric Pacific Group, SMRT and UOB, Mr Lim has been involved in a wide spectrum of interventions including human resource transformation, jobs redesign, talent development, learning & development and industrial relations.

Mr Lim holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from University College Dublin.

Ms Teo Xue Fen
Legal and Corporate Secretary

Ms Teo Xue Fen is the Legal Counsel & Corporate Secretary at NTUC LearningHub (NTUC LHUB). Her role encompasses legal risk management and coordination of engagements between the Board of Directors and key stakeholders.

Prior to joining NTUC LHUB, Ms Teo accumulated broad exposure in fields spanning across banking, technology, data protection, mergers & acquisitions, and trusts. She is conversant with business requirements and is capable in managing the interests of various internal and external stakeholders. When in practice, her key experience covered work on banking facilities and bond programmes. In her other roles as in-house legal counsel with multinational companies, she handled a range of commercial contracts across different jurisdictions and business units.

Ms Teo graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Law degree and was placed on the Dean’s List in 2013. She was called to the Singapore Bar in 2014 having achieved a Top 10 placement in the Singapore Bar Examinations.
