Paper B (45 minutes) - Comply with Rules and Regulations for Taxi Drivers
Paper C (1 hour) - Apply Techniques to Identify Key Routes
Total: 1 hour 45 minutes
This Assessment will be conducted at Republic polytechnic.
Who Should Attend
This course provides training to aspiring Private hire car Vocational drivers who wish to obtain the Taxi Driver’s Vocational Licence (TDVL) issued by the Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA).

Course Overview
This course comprises of
- 2 modules (M3A, M5) for candidates interested in converting their PDVL licence to TDVL so they should be able to do both Street hail and Ride hail jobs. Learners must attend the required modules and pass all the prescribed assessments for the modules before being certified for the PDVL.

Course Objectives
The course enables learners to acquire all the competencies required to provide point-to-point services to commuters as a profession, and to help drivers pass the prescribed assessments to obtain the TDVL issued by LTA.

Course Outline

- Apply Principles of Route Planning Using Printed Street Directory and Digital Navigational Tools

- Certificate of completion from NTUC LearningHub
Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.

- Participants are required to bring a smart phone for Module 5 to get practise on using the apps to be able to identify landmarks and use digital maps to navigate from point A to point B.
