Course Overview

The explosion of new artificial intelligence (AI) tools for businesses started in November 2022 with the launch of ChatGPT. Since then, many related AI tools have been developed and it is important that business owners and marketers take advantage of the latest AI tools to increase their business competitiveness and improve marketing effectiveness.

The 3-day Empowering Digital Marketers with Essential AI Tools is a practice-oriented class to expose learners to relevant and latest AI marketing tools for their day-to-day marketing activities.

Day 1 of this hands-on course introduces learners to AI marketing tools to help businesses examine market trends, competition, and customer research. Learners will then use ChatGPT to create marketing plan, market segments, customer personas, storyboards, and other copywriting applications. Learners will practice using ChatGPT and other free AI tools to complete market research, customer analysis and copywriting projects in class.

Day 2 introduces powerful free or low-cost AI tools for content production. Learners will practice using generative AI tools to develop corporate brand kits, photos & images, videos, website, and landing pages.

Day 3 focuses on the use of AI tools to create compelling ads, setting up effective digital advertising campaigns and ad campaign optimization. The class will conclude with the latest AI tools for marketing campaign analysis, data visualization and data analytics.

Course Objectives

Upon completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Apply relevant AI tools to their day-to-day marketing activities.
  • Research and evaluate new AI tools for marketing in the fast-evolving AI landscape.
  • Conduct market research, undertake competitive intelligence, and create marketing plan more effectively using AI solutions.
  • Generate marketing content like videos, social media posts, landing pages and website faster and cheaper with AI software.
  • Analyze marketing and campaign data better with powerful AI tools.
  • Assess and select the right AI marketing tools to invest in and use.

Pre-requisites

  • Proficiency in computer usage.
  • Basic knowledge of navigating digital tools.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (reading and writing).
  • Basic familiarity with digital marketing concepts and tools is a plus. No prior AI knowledge required.
  • Keen interest for online marketing and eagerness to learn AI applications in the field.

  • Operating system: Windows 10 or MacOS (64 bit or above)
  • Processor/CPU: 1.8 GHz, 2-core Intel Core i3 or higher
  • Minimum 20 GB hard disk space.
  • Minimum 8 Gb RAM
  • Webcam (The camera must be turned on for the duration of the class)
  • Microphone
  • Internet Connection: Wired or Wireless broadband
  • Latest version of Zoom software to be installed on computer or laptop prior to the class.

Good to Have:

  • Wired internet connection
  • Wired internet will provide you with stable and reliable connection.
  • Dual monitors
    Using a dual monitor setup will undoubtedly improve your training experience, enabling you to simultaneously participate in hands-on exercises and maintain engagement with your instructor.

Not Recommended:
Using tablets is not recommended due to their smaller screen size, which could cause eye strain and discomfort over the course of the program's duration.

Day 3: AI for Advertising and Marketing Analytics

  • AI tools for digital ad campaigns
  • AI for data visualization
  • AI for reporting and analytics
  • How to evaluate and choose the right AI tools

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by

  • Certificate of completion from NTUC LearningHub

Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.

  • From 1 October 2023, attendance-taking for SkillsFuture Singapore's (SSG) funded courses must be done digitally via the Singpass App. This applies to both physical and synchronous e-learning courses

  • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments, and pass all assessment components to be eligible for SSG funding.
  • NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria
