Mode of Assessment

Students will be required to complete a paper-based SF assessment during class.

After completing the course, students can proceed to undertake the SAFe Product Owner Product Manager Certification Exam from Scaled Agile which is optional. For Students who decided to sit for the SAFe exam, they need to take the exam within 30 days from the  start date of their class.

This two-day SAFe POPM course by Scaled Agile is designed to help individuals understand the role of a Product Owner in the SAFe framework and how to effectively prioritize and manage the backlog, collaborate with stakeholders and the development team to deliver value to customers, measure and track the progress and success of a product, and apply Lean and Agile principles to product management and development. Additionally, attendees will gain an understanding of the SAFe scaling model and how to effectively implement it in their organization, the concepts of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and Minimum Lovable Product (MLP), the importance of Customer Discovery and how to apply it in product development, and how to use various SAFe tools and practices such as PI Planning, Program Increment, and Lean-Agile Budgeting. The course will also cover how to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and how to leverage Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to deliver products and solutions in a faster and efficient way.

  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • From 1 October 2023, attendance-taking for SkillsFuture Singapore's (SSG) funded courses must be done digitally via the Singpass App. This applies to both physical and synchronous e-learning courses

  • Trainee must achieve at least 75% attendance
  • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments, and attain 100% competency
  • NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria

UTAP:

Absentee Payroll (AP) Funding:

  • $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year
  • AP funding will be computed based on the actual number of training hours attended by the trainee
