Course Overview
This course is designed for the WSH Construction Coordinators to perform the roles more effectively to ensure a safer and healthier workplace
*Course is delivered by e-learning on Learning eXperience Platform (LXP) and 1 day in-person workshop.

Course Objectives
Upon completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Apply the WSH Act and its subsidiary legislations and relevant Codes of Practice to the construction, erection, alteration or dismantling of any formwork structure in a worksite
- List the roles and responsibilities of a formwork supervisor
- Assist in carrying out risk assessment for formwork activities
- Apply the fundamentals of formwork structure construction
- Ensure formwork structure construction is in accordance with approved design
- Inspect formwork and falsework structure before, during and after concreting
- Respond to failure in formwork structure, fire and emergencies
Pre-requisites
Learners are required to have:
- Completed WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) and practicing as WSH Coordinators in the industry
Notes:
- All Coordinators in the construction sector who were trained before 31 Dec 2017 will have to complete their refresher training by 30 June 2023.
- All other Coordinators in the construction sector who underwent training between 2018 up to 2021 will need to complete their refresher training in the second half of 2023.

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by
Upon completion of the e-learning content and meeting 100% attendance, participants will receive a Certificate of Participation from NTUC LearningHub valid for 2 years.
Upon meeting at least 100% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.
