Anyone with a minimum of 2 years’ working experience and is keen to learn more about sustainability reporting, or who is currently supporting the sustainability reporting process within the organization.

Course Overview

Sustainability reporting is an evolving process. This short but intensive course is aimed at providing you with the relevant knowledge and abilities to get started on sustainability reporting in your organisation, and to continuously review, update and improve upon the sustainability reporting process and sustainability report. This is an activity-based program and its primary objective is to get you to apply what you learn during the course, by developing a plan to implement sustainability reporting within your organisation. This is a synchronous course conducted fully online on Zoom.

At the end of the course, learners will be able to:

Understand the international developments and initiatives to promote sustainability reporting
Understand the local developments and initiatives to promote sustainability reporting.
Explore the various sustainability reporting and accounting frameworks and standards.
Understand the components of a sustainability report.

Explore the various material environmental and social topics
Understand how to conduct impact assessment.
Understand how environmental or social issues are managed.
Understand the different metrics and targets to drive sustainability (environment and social) performance.
