This course has been specifically designed for the learners intended to work or currently work in the healthcare industry.

Course Overview

This course aims to equip Healthcare workers with knowledge and skills in applying organizational code of conduct in the delivery of services to all patients. By undergoing this program, learner will understand the reasons of having a robust organization’s code of conduct in place in the healthcare sector. Learner will also pick up the necessary knowledge on the importance of adhering to the organization’s code of conduct and ethics, as well as the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and how to apply them in real life. In addition to this, the legal consequences and implications will also be emphasized so that they can fully understand the extent of how certain actions and behaviors can lead to violations of the mentioned code and Act. They will also be briefed on the type of disciplinary actions that will come along with such violations. This course will also impart knowledge on recognizing and identifying acts of misconduct based on existing organization’s code of conduct and ethics, and the PDPA. Covering the process of reporting of misconducts or violations will enable learners to apply this process should they encounter any form of misconduct at work. Lastly, another take away would be on how they should conduct themselves in the workplace and be accountable for their own behaviors.

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by

  • Upon meeting the attendance and assessment(s) criteria, participants will be awarded with a digital Statement of Attainment (SOA), accredited by SkillsFuture Singapore.
  • Certificate of completion from NTUC LearningHub

Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.

  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • From 1 October 2023, attendance-taking for SkillsFuture Singapore's (SSG) funded courses must be done digitally via the Singpass App. This applies to both physical and synchronous e-learning courses.
  • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments and attain 100% competency.
  • NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria.

SkillsFuture Credit: 

  • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding.

Absentee Payroll (AP) Funding: 

  • $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year.
  • AP funding will be computed based on the actual number of training hours attended by the trainee.
  • Note: Courses / Modules under Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) will not be eligible for AP funding claim.
