Course Overview
Systems and work process improvement is a critical aspect of organizational success in today's dynamic business environment. It involves identifying opportunities for enhancing efficiency, quality, and overall effectiveness within the existing processes, as well as implementing changes to drive continuous improvement. This programme will focus on the key elements of continuous process improvement, process redesign, implementation of the redesigned process, and documentation of improvement activities.

Course Objectives
Upon completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Describe the process relationship, process continuous improvement’s principles and methodologies
- Analyse the processes for waste or non-value activities to facilitate redesigning the processes
- Implement the changes to the processes and resolve issues encounter
- Communicate through appropriate means on the team’s key performance indicators to the work teams
- Report outcomes of the implemented improvement activities
Pre-requisites
The admission requirements are:
- Possess at least a GCE ‘O’ Levels or equivalent or
- Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualifications (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) and Workplace Numeracy (WPN) at Level
- Be able to read, write and speak in English (WLPN Level 4 and above)
Course Outline
LU1: All about Process Continuous
- Describe the process relationship, process continuous improvement’s principle and methodologies
LU2: Redesigning the Process
- Analyse the processes for waste or non-value activities to facilitate redesigning the processes
LU3: Implementation of Redesigned Process
- Implement the changes to the processes and resolve issues encountered
- Communicate through appropriate means on the team’s key performance indicators to the work teams
- Apply appropriate means to communicate to the work teams the key performance indicators to be achieved
LU4: Documentation of the Improvement Activities
- Report outcomes of the implemented improvement activities
Certificate Obtained and Conferred by
- Upon meeting the attendance and assessment(s) criteria, participants will be awarded with a digital Statement of Attainment (SOA), accredited by SkillsFuture Singapore. SOA will be reflected as [code name i.e., FSS-SPI-3013-1.1 Systems and Work Processes Improvement-3].
- Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.
