Who Should Attend

This course is targeted at WSH Professionals from various industries such as construction, marine, manufacturing/ metal working, process industry and other industries. WSH Professionals such as WSH coordinators and WSH Officers seeking technology applications competency-based training to possess knowledge and ability on implementing technology in WSH for their organisation.

Course Overview

This training programme aims to train the learners to apply Technology in the work to manage WSH and solve WSH Problems.

This course is in line with the WSH 2028 Tripartite Strategies Committee that recommended to deepen a WSH Technology Ecosystem to Deepen Industry Capability.

This programme is developed in partnership with Dupont Sustainable Solutions which is a leading global provider of operations management consulting services.

Course Objectives

At the end of the course, learners will be able to:

  • Identify the industry 4.0 technologies and its industrial landscape 
  • Explain the various technology themes includes robotics, wearables and sensors and Augmented/ Virtual/ Mixed Reality
  • Execute the available technology tools using technology integration approaches to solve their organisational business needs in accordance with their organisational risk management measures and standard control procedures.
  • Detect the performance issues of the technological implementation and restore it for business continuity and disaster recovery
  • Explore the business needs to identify opportunities for improvement in technology applications

  • Implement evaluated technology integration plans to address business requirements, while adhering to risk management measures and standard control procedures
  • Implement performance diagnostics and Troubleshooting

  • Analyse areas for improvement in technology applications

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by

Upon meeting attendance requirements and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a e-SOA from SSG. A Certificate of Completion by LHUB and Dupont Sustainable Solutions will also be issued to the participants who meet the attendance and assessment requirements. 

Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.

Mode of Delivery: Virtual Live Class (VLC) via Zoom or In-person

As this is a government subsidised programme, the entire training programme will be video recorded for audit purposes by the relevant funding agency. To ascertain their presence, Trainees / Participants are required to

  • Turn on web camera to show real-time video, as opposed to using a profile picture / video (jpg/jpeg, gif or png image file) for the entirety of the training and assessment session.
  • Ensure that their faces are fully visible (not just the forehead / eyebrows)
  • Use their full name as per NRIC / Passport as their Screen Name on Zoom

Funding Eligibility Criteria:

  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • From 1 October 2023, attendance-taking for SkillsFuture Singapore's (SSG) funded courses must be done digitally via the Singpass App. This applies to both physical and synchronous e-learning courses

  • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments, and attain 100% competency
  • NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents

SkillsFuture Credit: 

  • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding.

UTAP: 

  • This course is eligible for Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP).
  • NTUC members can enjoy up to 50% funding (capped at $250 per year) under UTAP.

Absentee Payroll (AP) Funding: 

  • $4.50 per hour, capped at $100,000 per enterprise per calendar year.
  • AP funding will be computed based on the actual number of training hours attended by the trainee.
  • Note: Courses / Modules under Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) will not be eligible for AP funding claim.
