Course Objectives
Upon completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate the application of roles and responsibilities in real-life workplace scenarios.
- Apply WSH protocols and procedures to common workplace activities.
- Evaluate the organisational activities with the WSH Act and subsidiary legislations.
- Develop strategies to control and mitigate common worksite hazards.
- Conduct a risk assessment for a workplace, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures.
- Apply critical core skills such as communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork in promoting workplace safety and health.
- Implement improvements to the WSH management system and organizational WSH outcomes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of contractor management practices in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
- Demonstrate the application of good WSH practices includes technology implementation in different work settings to prevent incidents and injuries.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of incident management protocols in preventing recurrence of WSH incidents and improving WSH performance.
Pre-requisites
The admission requirements are:
- Completed WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) and practicing as WSH Coordinators in the industry
