Full-time or part-time employees in driving roles on a contract of service possessing Class 3 Driving Licence and above.
Operating vehicles requiring Class 3 driving licence or below, e.g., motorcycles, cars, vans, and trams.
Supervisors of such Fleets or those who manage such fleets as well.

Course Objectives
By the end of the course, drivers and riders will be able to identify and avoid potential hazards on the road and apply preventive measures to ensure safe driving.
The training requirements to ensure that drivers are equipped with the knowledge of the skills needed to carry out their Job function,
It helps the learner to avoid possible accident by identifying possible hazards on road or workplace and adequately be prepared to cope with pressures of safe driving.
Pre-requisites
To be eligible for this course, applicants must meet the following requirement:
- Possesses a Valid Driving Licence of class 3 or 3A, 3C or 3CA, 2 , 2B, 2A.
- Read and speak Basic English.
Course Outline
- Module 1: Roles and Responsibilities for Drivers
This module will discuss the roles and responsibilities of drivers in workplace traffic safety. Participants will learn about the importance of following workplace traffic safety guidelines and control measures, and how to identify and mitigate risks. They will also learn about their own role and responsibilities in ensuring workplace traffic safety, as well as the roles and responsibilities of other staff members.
- Module 2: Traffic Hazards and Risks
This module will focus on the different types of traffic hazards and risks that light vehicle drivers face in the workplace. Participants will learn how to identify and avoid these hazards, and how to mitigate the risks involved in driving in a workplace environment.
- Module 3: Defensive Driving Skills and Techniques
This module will cover the essential defensive driving skills and techniques that light vehicle drivers need to know to drive safely in the workplace. Participants will learn how to adhere to correct instructions, use safety devices and PPE, and follow workplace traffic instructions and signage. They will also learn about the different types of traffic safety devices and PPE that are available, as well as the designated workplace areas for traffic routes, storage areas, passageways, and pedestrian walkways.
- Module 4: Emergency Procedures
This module will teach participants how to respond to emergencies that may occur in the workplace. Participants will learn about the different types of emergency procedures that are available, and how to follow these procedures in the event of an accident or other emergency. They will also learn about the importance of reporting incidents, accidents, and workplace hazards to the supervisor or person-in-charge.
- Module 5: Continual Improvement
This module will focus on how participants can contribute to the continual improvement of workplace traffic safety. Participants will learn how to provide feedback on workplace traffic safety procedures and practices, and how to identify and implement improvements that can help to make the workplace a safer place for everyone.
- Case Studies
Case studies will be used throughout the course to allow participants to apply the concepts they have learned. Participants will be asked to analyse the case studies and identify the appropriate course of action. This will help them to develop the critical thinking and decision-making skills necessary to drive safely in the workplace.
Certificate Obtained and Conferred by
Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) will be issued for each module graded competent. SOA reflected as " PTP-WSH-1050-1.1"
Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.
