Course Objectives

This course aims to equip participants/trainees with basic concepts and key principals in industry 4.0. Participants are able to explore on such technology through demonstration of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies/Proof of Concept Lines at Bosch Rexroth Regional Training Centre.

Course Outline

The course will cover the topics on Advanced Manufacturing such as:

  • The fundamentals of Industry 4.0 and industrial revolutions
  • The principles of Industry 4.0, including the Internet of Things (IoT), big data & analytics, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, cybersecurity and cloud computing.
  • Understand the application of Advanced Manufacturing technologies in various industrial domains, such as conditioning monitoring predictive maintenance, process optimization, and autonomous systems.

Funding Eligibility Criteria

  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • From 1 October 2023, attendance-taking for SkillsFuture Singapore's (SSG) funded courses must be done digitally via the Singpass App. This applies to both physical and synchronous e-learning courses.​
  • Trainee must achieve at least 75% attendance.
  • Trainee must pass all prescribed tests / assessments and attain 100% competency.
  • NTUC LearningHub reserves the right to claw back the funded amount from trainee if he/she did not meet the eligibility criteria.
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents

  • Eligible Singapore Citizens can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fee payable after funding.

Training Allowance (TA) for self-sponsored trainees:
