Word Processing Application is an essential tool that is used extensively in the workplace to create most types of documents. This course will allow you to gain basic knowledge about the functions of Word Processing Application to complete daily documentation tasks.

Course Objectives

Upon course completion, learners will be able to:

  • Work with documents and use built-in options to enhance productivity
  • Create and edit small-sized word processing documents
  • Recognise good practice in choosing the appropriate formatting options and insert tables, images and drawn objects to enhance the documents

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by

This course prepares for trainees to sit through the ICDL external examinations. It is optional for trainees to take the examinations. A registration is needed with the exams unit department of LHUB. Trainees will need to sign and up and register in order to sit for the exam. 

Successful trainees who pass the exams will receive the internationally recognised ICDL Certificate upon completion of the course. This certificate is administered by ICDL Singapore, a new initiative from ECDL Foundation.

  • Certificate of completion from NTUC LearningHub

Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.
