Who Should Attend
Individuals whose job role requires them to operate the intruder alarm systems as well as carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of the intruder alarm system.
Course Overview
This course enables you to acquire the abilities and knowledge relating to the technical standard of Alarm System Management at Level 2 proficiency.
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Identify different types and nature of alarms
- Arm and disarm different types of alarm monitoring equipment
- Report locations of intrusion incidents to immediate supervisors based on organisational procedures
- Adopt basic response actions in accordance to organisation procedures
- Detect and report any equipment fault to supervisors
- Complete relevant documentation relating to alarm equipment

Course Objectives
Effective management of Intruder Alarm System is to achieve, technology and refined operational processes.
Knowledge and abilities required for applying the appropriate procedures to operate Intruder Alarm Systems effectively.
Pre-requisites
- GCE N Level pass in English and Mathematics
OR
- Equivalent to WPL Level 5 & WPN – Intermediate Level.

Certificate Obtained and Conferred by
Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) will be issued for each module graded competent. SOA reflected as SEC-TEM-2002-1.1.
