The Retail sector is a competitive one with many concepts to attract customers to patronise their outlets. It is essential to recognise, understand and respond to service challenges.

Course Objectives
Successful candidates will be able to:
- Identify the types of triggers in the service environment that causes potential service challenges
- Apply service recovery procedures to resolve service challenges according to organisational guidelines.
- Use service escalation channels to escalate unresolved service challenges
- Demonstrate effective communication skills when interacting with customers
Pre-requisites
- Speak, Listen, Read and Write English at WPL Level 4 or equivalent
- Manipulate numbers at WPN Level 4 or equivalent
Course Outline
The Service Challenges course aims to equip the learners with the knowledge and abilities in recognizing triggers that may lead to service challenges, responding to the challenges with service recovery procedures, and escalating unresolved challenges.
Certificate Obtained and Conferred by
- Certificate of completion from NTUC LearningHub
Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.

Medium of Instruction & Trainer:
- Lectures and hands-on practical sessions, Group discussions and sharing, Individual and group presentations, and Role Play.
- Trainer: Trainee Ratio is 1: 20
