Course Objectives
Upon completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Adhere to Organisation infection prevention and control procedures to better appreciate patients’ values and needs
- Adhere and practice standard and transmission-based precautions in accordance with patient’s conditions
- Administer appropriate infection control practices to patients and caregivers
- Appraise proper disinfection and sterilisation procedures
- Handle General and Biohazard Waste in accordance with organisation procedures.
Pre-requisites
The admission requirements are:
- A basic knowledge of the organisation’s standard operating procedures and guidelines on healthcare service.
- A basic understanding of the organisation’s products and services offering.
- Understanding of the basics of personal grooming and hygiene.
- Experience in interacting with patients.
