“Champion HR Business Partnering” series is targeted at HR professionals or management level staff of organisation to develop a resilient workforce through HR business partnering. HR Business partners are aligned to and work closely with business leaders to enhance workforce performance, foster, and nurture strategic people enablers such as talent, leadership, learning and culture, as well as develop people solutions, to achieve the organisation’s objectives.
The nature of HR and of work itself changes, there is a need to be forward-thinking and be able to act as strategic business partners and enablers of human capital development; and to develop the necessary skills to become an effective HR business partner and maximize the value of HR in your organization.

Course Objectives
This programme will help the learners gain conceptual understanding of using HR Analytics to support the forward-thinking of HR areas to support the organisation’s business.
At the end of the course, learners will be able to:
- Methodically and systematically understand the basics of human capital analytics.
- Clarify the difference between metrics, analysis and (human capital) analytics.
- Encourage a shift from activity-based HR measures to organisation-wide analytics which provide better insight for predictive decision making.
- Decide and prioritise what to data to measure and why.
- Determine which data gathering methods and sources are most appropriate.
- Develop and determine basic KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Demonstrate basic methods for reading and presenting data.
- Identify tools and technique used to further analyse data and support decision making.
- Interpret and prioritise standards versus measures.
- Diagnose your organisations maturity level / stage in terms of (human capital) analytics.
- Appreciate current trends which are making analytics even more relevant.
Pre-requisites
The admission requirements are:
- Be able to speak, listen, read, and write English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 6.
- (Only for Online Classes) Hardware & Software
- This course will be conducted as a Virtual Live Class (VLC) via Zoom platform.
- Participants must own a Zoom account and have a laptop or a desktop with “Zoom Client for Meetings” installed. Download from zoom.us/download.

Course Outline
LU1. Determine Data Perimeters for Data Collection and Analysis
Learners will learn to identify the type of data required for analyses and their key performance indicators and adopt the various methodology for data collection.
LU2. Analyse and Interpret Collected Data
Learner will learn to apply HR analytics methodology through data visualising and modelling to analyse and interpret data into practical initiatives.
LU3. Present Data to Relevant Stakeholders
Learner will learn to prepare and present the results of data analysed to key stakeholders and will share on how findings can be put into practical applications or initiatives.

Upon meeting the attendance and assessment(s) criteria, participants will be awarded with Certificate of Attendance from NTUC LearningHub and CIPD.
