Course Objectives
This course aims to equip students with Cyber Security and Industry 4.0 knowledge and skills needed to understand the threat landscape of advanced manufacturing and connected systems, as well as how to apply defence techniques to protect these systems. The course will provide an overview of Bosch Rexroth’s operational technologies and implementation of cyber security in the context of Industry 4.0.
Course Outline
The course will cover the topics of cyber security such as:
- The risk assessment, compliance, and regulations applicable to Industrial Cyber Security.
- The various security vulnerabilities and corresponding counter measures for advanced manufacturing.
The implementation of cyber defence strategies to protect industrial systems, using permissions and policies management, secured machine access via OPC UA, etc.
