This course has been specifically designed for the learners with an objective of creating a clear sense of purpose, setting priorities, overcoming negative cognitive and behavioural patterns, and leveraging practical strategies, tools and techniques foster better stress and time management.
Course Overview
We work in a highly competitive environment where stress is part of our lifestyles. Psychologists and experts agree that the right amount of pressure and stress can fuel peak performance, bring good mental health and personal satisfaction. However, success comes with a price - long hours at work, that is accompanied with high stress level. This workshop will show how you can manage stress and time effectively and use the positive effects of stress to help you to perform even better at work.

Course Objectives
This 1-day workshop will provide opportunities for participants to relate the content to their own work environment, and to consider a range of science-based and practical stress and time management techniques to boost their overall wellbeing.
At the end of this course, participants will be equipped with knowledge and skills to:
- Identify the main sources of stress
- Transform stress with science-based stress reduction techniques to improve overall sense of well being
- Access a winning attitude on demand
- Identify your own time wasters and adopt strategies for reducing them
- Identify steps to overcome barriers to effective time management
Pre-requisites
The admission requirements are:
- Participants should be able to speak, listen and read English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4.
- Hardware & Software (if applicable)
- This course will be conducted as a Virtual Live Class (VLC) via Zoom platform.
- Participants must own a Zoom account and have a laptop or a desktop with “Zoom Client for Meetings” installed. Download from zoom.us/download.
