Course Overview
This course is conducted and assessed in Mandarin.
Specifically to equip learners with knowledge and application skills to follow Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 – Chinese. You must also practise good personal hygiene, using safe ingredients, handle and store food safely and maintain cleanliness and upkeep of utensils, equipment and service or storage areas.

Course Objectives
Preparing food for sale in SFA-licensed food establishments are required to attend and pass Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1 – Chinese.
Pre-requisites
Candidates must be in proper dress code and adhere to the following when attending class:
- Do not wear slippers
- Do not wear accessories/jewelry
- Do not wear nail polish or fake fingernails
- Keep fingernails short and clean
- Keep long hair tied back and in a tidy condition
The admission requirements are:
- Read, write, and speak Chinese
- Manipulate numbers at WPN Level 4
- For VLC classes,

- This course will be conducted as a Virtual Live Class (VLC) via Zoom platform.
- Participants must own a Zoom account and have a laptop or a desktop with “Zoom Client for Meetings” installed. Download from zoom.us/download.
