JAVASCRIPT FRAMEWORK WITH REACTJS (SF)
Course Duration
Mode of Assessment
Students will be required to complete an online written assessment/oral questioning/case study during class.
Who Should Attend
This course is suitable for aspiring and experienced web developers, programmers, and software engineers who want to learn or enhance their skills in building modern web applications using ReactJS.
What's In It for Me
- Learn React fundamentals for building dynamic user interfaces.
- Master state management with React Hooks, Redux, and Context.
- Implement routing and navigate between pages in React apps.
- Gain practical testing skills for reliable React applications.
- Enhance code quality with TypeScript integration in React components.
Course Overview
This 5-day, 40-hour course on JavaScript Framework with ReactJS is designed to provide learners with the necessary skills to create, manage, and test React applications.
Throughout the course, learners will gain a strong foundation in React and learn how to use React Hooks to handle rendering and managing state, create and manage forms, and interact with backend servers through APIs. They will also learn how to manage routing with React Router, implement React Context as an alternative to passing down props, and use Redux to manage global state.
The course will cover testing React applications using necessary tools for unit testing and writing unit tests with React Testing Library. Additionally, learners will understand TypeScript and implement React components using TypeScript, including using interfaces and decorators, and implementing types in components, hooks, and API consumption.
By the end of the course, learners will have the skills necessary to create robust, scalable React applications and confidently use the latest tools and techniques in the React ecosystem.

Course Objectives
Upon completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the fundamentals of React and its concepts, including creating and nesting functional components, adding markup and styles, displaying data, rendering conditions and lists, responding to events, and sharing data between components.
- Use React Hooks to handle rendering and managing state, create and manage forms, and interact with backend servers through APIs, including asynchronous data fetching and performing CRUD operations.
- Manage routing with React Router and pass information through routes.
- Implement React Context as an alternative to passing down props, including using themes and managing global state with context.
- Use Redux and integrate it into a React App to manage global state.
- Test React applications using necessary tools for unit testing and writing unit tests with React Testing Library.
- Understand TypeScript and implement React components using TypeScript, including using interfaces and decorators, and implementing types in components, hooks, and API consumption.
