This course comprises of
- Conduct of drivers – Road Traffic (PSV) Rules
- General Conduct
- Conduct on the road
- Penalties for errant drivers
- The driver improvement points system (DIPS)
-What is DIPS?
-Related offences committed by taxi or private hire car drivers
-Suspension/disqualification/revocation of driving licence
- Use of mobile communication devices under DIPS
- Vocational Licence Points System (VLPS)
- What is vocational licence points system (VLPS)
- The VLPS Scheduled Offences and Penalties for PSV drivers
- Inconsiderate and careless driving
- Smoking in vehicle

Course Objectives
The course enables PDVL holders to update their knowledge and acquire all the competencies required to provide point-to-point services to commuters as a profession so that they are update with the current changes and SOP’s resulting in service ready Drivers by attend 3-hours mandatory VL Refresher Course

This course will be conducted both as a Physical Class and could also go Virtual Live Class (VLC) via Zoom platform. Participants must have a laptop or a desktop with “Zoom Client for Meetings” installed. This can be downloaded from https://zoom.us/download

Participants will be given understanding of the following topics.

Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.

Mode of Delivery: Physical Class
- Participants are required to attend the complete course and meet the LTA requirement.
- Attendance will be taken at the start of each session.
- Participants are required to bring a smart phone to get practise using an interactive method of learning.
Mode of Delivery: Virtual Live Class
Participants are briefed at the time of joining they are required to have a Smart phone or a laptop or desktop to be able to connect to attend the instructor-led classroom/virtual training.
