Who Should Attend
This course is targeted for supervisors, managers and leaders to enhance their leadership and people management competencies, complementing their technical competencies. It is designed to benchmark corporate leadership capabilities and provides leadership development skills for supervisors, managers and leaders.

In todays complex environment, businesses demand fluidity, which requires all leaders to embrace change and to take on risks. Leading others to implement change is a key leadership capability because effective change initiatives can help to sustain an organisations long-term success.
Leaders play a pivotal role in managing transformations at the workplace. They will require skills to personally assimilate change, create and orchestrate productive processes within workgroups or functions, while guiding others with appropriate advice, consultation and feedback. Applying skills, concepts and theories in a real or simulated environment as well as developing practical solutions to every-day problems, participants will learn how to review strategies, delegated responsibilities and assess performance indicators through data collection and analysis.

- Communicate ideas and information to employees and colleagues effectively
- Solve problems to achieve optimal results in business units
- Collect, analyse and organise information to review data critically
- Plan and organise resources and activities to complete work activities within specified timeframes
- Be able to listen and speak English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualifications (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) level 5
- Be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the ES WSQ WPL level 5
- Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES WSQ Workplace Numeracy (WPN) level 5

Course Outline
Lessons covered:
- Support and monitor the development of individuals within teams and work environments
- Prepare and communicate plans for implementation of change while modelling enterprising behaviours and risk taking
- Assign roles and responsibilities to implement change strategies and processes
- Identify systems and behaviours that may support or limit change processes and work with team members to plan for predictable consequences of change
- Analyse workplace performance and processes to identify opportunities for innovation, improved work practices and better use of technology
- Demonstrate empathy by addressing the feelings and perspectives of team members arising
Certificate Obtained and Conferred by
Participants who have successfully demonstrated competence in all the knowledge and skills requirements in this programme will be awarded with a Statement of Attainment (SOA) by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). This programme is offered on a modular basis only.

Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.
