Who Should Attend
- Trainees who have interest in setting up their own business, especially in the retail industry.
- Current retail business owners who want to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Mid-life PMEs who want to own their own business and have a career change.
Course Overview
Team members will be able to develop a comprehensive business plan which entails the respective role(s) in the business plans, the execution and adaptation of implementation plans, and the monitoring and reporting of the outcomes from the implementation of the business plan.

Course Objectives
Successful candidates will be able to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills on the following:
- Clarify their own role/s in the business plan.
- Able to execute implementation plans in a timely manner.
- Identify and adapt implementation plans in a Retail environment.
- Monitor and report outcomes to relevant Retail stakeholders.
Pre-requisites
- Speak, Listen, Read and Write English at WPL Level 4 or equivalent
- Manipulate numbers at WPN Level 4 or equivalent
Course Outline
This course focuses on Retail entrepreneurs and business owners who are starting out as franchisors or franchisees, and/or managers who are tasked to implement business plans.
The content in this course is specially designed for the Retail industry and contains learning activities targeted at this industry.
Certificate Obtained and Conferred by
- Certificate of completion from NTUC LearningHub
Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.

- Lectures and hands-on practical sessions, Group discussions and sharing, Individual and group presentations, and Role Play.
