- Trainees who have interest in setting up their own business, especially in the retail industry
- Current retail business owners who want to enhance their knowledge and skills
- Mid-life PMEs who want to own their own business and have a career change
Course Overview
This course aims to provide retail staff already working in or wishing to enter the Retail industry with the skills and knowledge required to perform product advisory and related customer services.

Course Objectives
Successful candidates will be able to:
- Identify ways to provide customers with information regarding the product selection in the store
- Identify ways on how to advise customers on the selection of products
- Identify ways on how to advise customers on the specification of products
Pre-requisites
- Speak, Listen, Read and Write English at WPL Level 4 or equivalent
- Manipulate numbers at WPN Level 4 or equivalent

This course will be conducted as a Virtual Live Class (VLC) via Zoom platform. Participants must own a zoom account and have a laptop or a desktop with “Zoom Client for Meetings” installed. This can be downloaded from https://zoom.us/download.

Course Outline
This course addresses customers’ requirements by focusing on customers’ needs, having their interests at heart, recommending quality products and services at best value to customers. The program will cover ways to address customers’ objections with the aim to meet their needs and delight them with the objective of maximising additional sales opportunities while meeting the different and varied needs of customers professionally.

- Certificate of completion from NTUC LearningHub
Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.
