Course Overview
This course is aimed to present the content and activities aligned to the Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) Achieving Performance Management Mastery module. It has been specifically designed for the learners with a background in the Human Resource (HR) sector. The course content and examples are thus slanted towards the HR sector.

At the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Have the skills, knowledge and strategies needed to build a competency-driven culture.
- Be able to effectively communicate key indicators, implement impactful performance management programs, and drive performance enhancement.

Assumed Skills and Knowledge
Assumed skills and knowledge means what we expect you to know and be able to do already before you start the course. We assume you have:
- A basic knowledge of the organisation’s standard operating procedures and guidelines on HR policies and practices.
- A basic understanding of the organisation’s products and services offering.
- Understanding of the basics of key performance management concepts.
- Experience in interacting with employees and managers.
The admission requirements are:
- Read, write, and speak English at WPL Level 4
- Hardware & Software (if applicable)
- This course can be conducted In-person as well as a Virtual Live Class (VLC) via Zoom platform.
- Participants must own a Zoom account and have a laptop or a desktop with “Zoom Client for Meetings” installed. Download from zoom.us/download.

Course Outline
LO1: Analyse and apply the best practices in KPI development
LO2: Facilitate the identification of KPIs for teams and individuals with managers effectively, using appropriate facilitation techniques and tools
LO3: Articulate KPI expectations clearly to align and standardise performance expectations across the organisation
LO4: Execute performance management programmes in accordance with overall performance management strategies
L05: Select appropriate communication channels to effectively convey performance management programmes
LO6: Assess the impact of performance management programmes on business performance and draw insights for strategic decision-making
LO7: Implement appropriate changes to improve the effectiveness and alignment of the programmes based on feedback received from stakeholders, including employees, managers, and organizational leaders
Certificate Obtained and Conferred by
- Upon meeting the attendance and assessment(s) criteria, participants will be awarded with a digital Statement of Attainment (SOA), accredited by SkillsFuture Singapore. SOA will be reflected as HRS-PDV-3032-1.1 Performance Management.
- Upon meeting the attendance and assessment(s) criteria, participants will be awarded with a digital Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.
