Course Objectives
Successful candidates will be able to:
- Recognise the importance of ensuring store security and preventing retail crime.
- Demonstrate good practices and procedures for ensuring store security and preventing retail crime, including closing and opening stores according to store policies and guidelines, and developing a vigilant mindset.
- Demonstrate awareness of how to report matters that may affect store security, including suspicious / wanted persons, handling of unattended objects, store robberies, and theft.
Pre-requisites
Estimated Years of Experience:
- Speak, Listen, Read and Write English at WPL Level 4 or equivalent
- Manipulate numbers at WPN Level 4 or equivalent
Course Outline
This course aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills to with the necessary knowledge and skills in store security which include developing of a vigilant mindset, reporting suspicious / wanted persons, handling of unattended objects, store robberies, minimizing theft and participation in retail crime prevention.
Certificate Obtained and Conferred by
- Certificate of completion from NTUC LearningHub
Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.
