Course Objectives
This programme lays a solid foundation for equipping workers with effective self-management tools and frameworks to navigate their careers and workplace challenges successfully. Upon completing the program, learners will have the capability to:
- Develop personal branding with emotional intelligence attributes to manage career success.
- Application of time management strategy to manage stress and maintain own well-being.
- Practice work and social etiquette when interacting with other people.
Pre-requisites
The admission requirements are:
- Be able to speak, listen, read, and write English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4.
- (Only for Online Classes) Hardware & Software
- This course will be conducted as a Virtual Live Class (VLC) via Zoom platform.
- Participants must own a Zoom account and have a laptop or a desktop with “Zoom Client for Meetings” installed. Download from zoom.us/download.

LU1: Personal Branding and Emotional Intelligence Domains
- Define your personal branding.
- Understand the domains of emotional intelligence and their impact in the workplace.
- Learn emotional regulation techniques for maintaining composure.
- Explore self-care and self-awareness concepts and techniques.
LU2: Time and Stress Management
- Master effective time and stress management techniques.
- Identify the causes of stress and develop solutions to manage your well-being.
- Set goals and priorities to optimize your workload.
- Explore strategies for achieving work-life balance and overall well-being.
LU3: Etiquette in the Workplace
- Recognise the importance of workplace etiquette.
- Understand the standards for personal and professional image.
- Navigate workplace expectations and norms.
- Learn effective feedback methods and channels in the workplace.
Certificate Obtained and Conferred by
- Upon meeting the attendance and assessment(s) criteria, participants will be awarded with a digital Statement of Attainment (SOA), accredited by SkillsFuture Singapore. SOA will be reflected as Self Management CCS-SMT-B001-1
- Upon meeting at least 75% attendance and passing the assessment(s), participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from NTUC LearningHub.
